This February, BMMS Partners, along with Cox & Gracia and Gunning, Stenson and Price are hosting a drive to benefit Dress for Success Seattle. We will be collecting contemporary, seasonal, nearly new women's professional clothing, shoes, handbags & accessories.
Dress for Success Seattle’s vision is a world where women do not live in poverty. They strive for a world where all women are financially independent, are treated with dignity and respect and are directly impacting their lives and those of their families. They aspire to a world that fully harnesses the power of women and recognizes their role in economic sustainability. Their purpose is to offer long-lasting solutions that enable women to break the cycle of poverty. Dress for Success is part of a global movement for change, empowering women to obtain safer and better futures.
What and How to Donate
Dress for Success Seattle accepts nearly new, contemporary, ready to wear, seasonal career appropriate women’s professional attire in all sizes. Essentials needed:
- Women’s New/Slightly Used Professional Clothing
- Women’s New/Slightly Used Professional Shoes
- Women’s New/Slightly Used Medium/Large Handbags
Dress for Success Seattle also always welcomes full-size hygiene products, new undergarments and shapeware, and classic jewelry. If your donations are appropriate to wear to work and if you would be comfortable wearing your donated item to an interview yourself, we'll take it! Donations must be clean and ready to wear.
If you do not have any professional clothing to spare, there are other ways to donate. Checks can be made payable to “Dress for Success Seattle” or you may donate directly on the website: https://dressforsuccess.org/get-involved/donate/.
Where and When to Donate
We will be accepting donations at our office in the Key Bank Building on 4th Avenue in Bellevue at 10655 NE 4th Street, Suite 611 from Monday, February 3rd – Monday, February 17th . If you will not be able to drop your donations off at our office, a representative would be happy to pick them up from you – just reach out to Mollie Snorsky at mollie@bmmscpa.com.
